Under the direction of the account or area manager, is responsible for the daily maintenance of one building, or a portion of one building, to include direct supervision and training of cleaning associates.
Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours
Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocol
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
High and low dusting
Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas
Report maintenance issues of facility and/or equipment to supervisor
Trains assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment
Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager
Performs routine inspections of work performed
Serve as backup for absent personnel
Commits to behave in compliance with the company's values and Code of Conduct
Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior
Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism
Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made
Conducts daily informal building inspections to maintain a quality level that meets the customer's and the company's standards
Conducts monthly formal written building inspections to be submitted to the account or area manager. Uses these to give feedback and training to the cleaning associates
Knows, understands and implements the cleaning specifications for assigned facility
Maintains and develops written Account Manual and 'Cleaning Guides / Systems' for all job positions within the assigned buildings
Maintains an inventory of cleaning products and supplies and ensures cleaning equipment is accurately inventoried and in safe working order. Responsible for repairing and maintaining some equipment on-site
Under the direction of the account manager, handles some associate-related matters, which may include time and pay, training, safety, discipline, performance appraisals, damage or theft complaints, etc. and completes all necessary paperwork

Knowledge of commercial floor care and floor care products

Education and Experience Required
3-5 years commercial cleaning experience and/or floor care
1+ years Lead experience
Education and Experience Preferred
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-3 years supervisory experience in a commercial cleaning environment
Regularly required to walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with arms; and, talk or hear
